Archery Elk on 410
« on: May 17, 2012, 05:30:36 AM »
Looking to get a few guys together to go Archery Elk hunting off 410 Sept 10-16. I have a place in mind but open to here your ideas. Plan is to set up a base camp and use horses to pack in for a few days. I have two horses and would be willing to walk them in with another person or two. Of course if you have a horse the more the merrier. Four guys four to six animals. I have no special tags or permits but if you do great!
  I look forward to the planning every year and getting an elk is not the end all. I'm not here to tell you how to hunt or what to do but a safe/smart hunt is a goal. Fishing and good eatting is a must. A chance to get away and enjoy quiet time. I have all the group gear needed but I'm not a guide. I'm located in Burlington. As we all know good people are hard to find and Hunting alone is a bag idea. Maybe others are in the same boat as I am?

Good Hunting

Hey there

I just moved to Washington and have been looking for a partner to go find some elk with. I'm located in Seattle at the moment. Feel like meeting up somewhere and talking more about this awesome sounding trip you're planning, maybe shooting around a bit?

Hey there triggersbuddy;

I am up for something like that.  I don't have a horse (do know how to ride, however), and hunt bow, but would like to get in on a group hunt.  I live in Federal Way and that is not too close to any good Elk areas, to the best of my knowledge.  Let me know where and when to meet up and discuss this idea. :tup: :tup:

I'll keep ya in mind.  Just waiting to hear back on permit draws before I nail down any plans.
