Next Generation...
« on: May 25, 2012, 07:43:44 PM »
Went hiking today with the Princess of YAR.  Saw a bunch of deer, and some quail.   However, Runamuk won the prize of the day.  I see her waving me over frantically across the draw.  I work my way over, all she can say is baby, the next breathless word is elk...

WE DID NOT DISTURB THE LITTLE GUY!  We also left the area so momma could come back to her baby!

By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

I was pretty sure mama was gonna stomp my ass if she caught me messin with her youngin.....and I am no match for mad elk  :chuckle: :chuckle: the thing was so cute....did not get too close as I really did not want to disrupt the area any more than I had walking up on it, darn near stepped on the tyke.  I could not let the photo op pass so had to get the camera man on scene then we bugged out to go try and find the deer that had bailed over the hillside...was a fabulous day to be in the woods and as always we saw critters but still never found any sheds....
