So, I'd like to say I found a pile of fresh bear scat and then saw a game camera happily snapping away pictures of me. I'd like to actually get the pics emailed to me, if I can find out to whom the camera belongs. This is tricky because I'm sure nobody wants to reveal where their game camera is. I'll describe the area and then maybe one of you will read it and can PM me if it sounds about right?
It's towards the last part of a road before there is no way to drive any further....there are two trees laid down partially across and they have no greenery on them....there is a left turn right past those two trees with another little overgrown road that also has a tree w/o greenery on it blocking that road....you walk through the little saplings as the road bends left-ish around a reprod....there was scat right on the "road" with your Bushnell game camera focusing right on the scat in a tree just between knee high and waist high.
I hope there is nicer weather coming and actual bears in my future...as much fun as seeing sign is, it only makes for tag soup.
