WETside hunting boots

So I'm in the market for a new pair of hunting boots.  I've always worn Danner Pronghorns but i seem to wear them out after 2-3 hunting seasons.  That and I'm not overly impressed with their water resistance. Ive always conditioned them with mink oil and that seems to help a little. I know Danner made some improvements adding an extra toe and heel guard, and am wondering if that helped keep them more resistant to water. So what does everyone like here around the wetside for a hunting boot.  Uninsulated/lightly insulated is what I'm looking for.  Your suggestions would be much appreciated.

I used to hunt in the same boots.

I made the switch to an all leather mountaineering style boot and I will never go back.  Kenetrek, Crispi, Lowa, meindl, etc... Style boots.

They are a little heavier but the support is awesome.  Most of these boots are all leather and waterproof lined.  I'm going on year 6 on mine and they are still in great shape.

I have a pair of Kenetrek Hardscrabbles, and I've been very pleased with them.  Very comfortable, great support, and no leaks.  Try on a few different boots and pick the ones that fit you best.

I got 4 years of tree cutting and hunting hard out of my danner super rainforest 2s they cost me 400.  That's expected on boots in wa about 100 a year.  Pronghorn is what I'm switching to for the price and how lite they are.  Im sick of stalking in big clunky boots.

I wear the cabelas rubber boots! They work great for me in the crap I hunt in!

ive gone away from trying to find boots that will stay waterproof and started using a pair of $25 gore-tex socks. bonus is on hot days you can stand in cool water and cool your feet.

i did see corked xtra-tuffs at madsen's that caught my eye though....

I use Georgia low heel loggers that are waterproof with 400 grams of insulation I believe.  I love them very comfortable, never leaked even in the swamp they call the winston unit.  Hauled elk out on them and still felt good.  price ranges between 129-169

I went from danner to the redwing irishsetter elkhunter 600gr.  Little warm and heavy but waterproof for sure.  I get two years before I wear soles flat.  I am hard on boots and also wear em at work.  They are a good boot for money, 180.  Danner rainforest{made in America} a very good one as well.  Cheaper danner quarry made in china too, didnt make it one year with me.  If you have goretex boot dont use petroleum based oils.

I have these same Redwings.... I payed 110.00 for them at Sportsman's? in Vancouver.  Awesome boot, but do require a break in period for me anyway.    Love em, will continue to buy them..  Once broke in they are most comfortable.

i have same boots but in 1000gr but they are too warm to wear very much here, used to be my go to when living in WY. after 7 years theyre starting to leak...

I switched to the all leather Cabelas outfitter boots a few years back.  Have put many miles on them.  So far plenty waterproof.  The traction is much better than my previous boots, yet I am looking into getting some corks for my next boots.  Only real bummer seems to be when water comes over the top it can take a while to dry.  Most of the creeks I have to cross during elk season are like a magical one inch deeper than whatever boot I'm wearing.

Sounds like I need to quit shopping at Red Wing stores! I do like the custom fitting they do but I know what size I need now. Duh!

Depends on when.  Pretty much anything comfortable will do for early archery.  Last year I went to Muck boots for late archery due to constant rain, mud, wet grass, etc.
