agreed.i shot the rampage at sva n from what i understand this is the same thing with a machined aluminum riser insteada the magnesium cast.i think im going to try and go used on my sights n stab  n release n rest n see where i get.i really like some of the drop aways but am going to have to go lower end n i like those spott hog sights but once again am going to have to settle on something that i can get into the woods with this season n maybe upgrade in the spring.hopefully this bow will last me a few years n i can get some real nice stuff on it eventually

I got a new Trophy Taker drop away rest off ebay last year for $50 (new). Also got a Copper John 3 pin sight for $15, also brand new. There are some great deals to be found on ebay if you're not too picky on what you get.

An idea to ponder is craigslist.  Seen old cheap bows with good rest n sights pretty cheap.  Also montana Black Gold sight a good one for money.  I use and love em.

I shot the Maxxis 31 for 2 years and the strings on the hoyts are good that come stock. I believe they use the fuse strings. I had no creep with mine at 85 pounds so you should be good for the season. when you get it put about 100 arrows though it then take to the shop and have them check and see if the cams are still in time. Some times they do creep a bit. Then you should be good you can use that hundred buck that you where going to use for the string and get a good release. Scott makes a great one.

i paid about $65 for my 5 pin tool less Tru-Glo sight, brand new.  great sight!     another $50 for a new QAD drop away... i think you could easily do up a bow for under $200.
