I never shot one big enough to worry about scoring it they have all been spikes so I didn't get to concerned with a score my hunting partners figured around 320 we will have to see how close they were once i get it back think i will be picking it up Thursday  I will try posting another before pic into the msg for you bowhunter45

I have a 289 bull, and that bull beats it.   I'm guessing just north of 300.   One thing I know for sure is.......   It's a BEAUTY, and so cool that you got to do it with your Dad!

OK so I finally picked up my mount and couldn't be happier.  He looks just like he did when i first saw him coming out of the trees.  glad I was able to preserve such a great memory.  And on the scoring thing we were all off about the same ammount in each direction I asked what he scored and he tells me he scored out at 300 dead on the nuts. anyways i don't really care about the score just like the work he did and happy i had the opportunity to harvest one bigger than a spike.  the picture doesn't show great detail it was a cell phone picture.

Nice looking bull.  Mine from last years rifle tag was a rag horn but now that I have the early quality tag for Peaches this year I will hope to find a nice 6pt. to bugle in and thread the arrow.

I worked up a good sweat getting mine through the door and up on the wall in the stairway.  No room for another mature bull so I guess I am meat hunting for awhile.

Did you ever tape him out and find out what he scored? My bet is 290ish to low 300 range. REALLY want to find his identical twin durring my Peaches Ridge trip this year.

Looks good in the entry way! One tip.... use a credit card to tuck in the hair against the wall. That is a fine looking mount!!
