DIY Kodiak Combo Hunt
« on: May 24, 2012, 08:22:29 AM »
Had to share this story with you all. Ian is a good 'ol boy... born and raised in Hunters, WA and one of the finest men i know. I couldn't be more proud of him and can't think of anyone who deserves a trophy like this more.

He took me on my first hunts over in the Palouse (2005) and let me tag along with him over in the Northeast too. His wife is a saint and has harvested more bucks then I have!

Ian's dad showed me a couple pics from that trip and told me there would be a write up on it.. Great article and massive Sitka's.
Ian's dad moved from Hunters and is now the superintendent of the Tonasket Public Schools.

Great write up!! I loved my bear and deer hunt up there a couple falls back. Was very happy with my 9'11" bear and deer. Ready to go back on a DIY deer hunt now that I know where to go. Definitely an awesome place.
