Went to School Thursday
« on: May 25, 2012, 07:39:58 PM »
I spent the day at Chloe Clark Elementary School talking to the kids about trapping and furs. One class at a time total of about 220 kids.
The kids were great and loved the furs I had to show them. Have to say I think I had as much fun as the kids.
A few pictures I took.

Way to go! I'll bet a couple of them caught the finger-in-fur disease. Future trappers!

I specifically remember one little girl that had her brow furrowed up and a disapproving look about her. That changed and when she got a chance to touch the fur she was as excited as everone else.
Fielded a couple of difficult questions but I was honest and the kids accepted the answers pretty well.

Well done, thank you for taking the time to help educate the younger generation.  What was the hardest question you got?

Great job! Thanks for taking the time to show these kids what you do. We all need to try and teach the younger generation about our sports.
We give your trophy that final compliment!

Time well spent educating the young ones!

I don't know where Chloe Clark Elementary School is but I'm guessing it's not in the Seattle School system.... :yike:
