there are three brands of 1911 coming out of the phillipines that i know of, rock island, armscor, and ATI.. I bought an ATI not long ago. Less than 500$, plain GI looking all steel 1911. shot 4" groups at 25yds out of the box. just changing a barrel bushing has it grouping about 2" at 25yds.. works pretty good. I am debating taking it to Ft Benning for interservice competition and Camp Perry for nationals, even if it is a plain fixed sight gun.
