Possession Spearing
« on: June 01, 2012, 09:42:30 AM »
Went spearfishing Tuesday and had good luck, but I haven't had the time to type up a proper report.  Here's the pics, my ling measured 35 1/2 inches and my buddies cabbie was just under 30 inches.

I'll be spearing again this afternoon, and Butt fishing tomorrow.  Wish me luck!

Nice job. A little tip on taking pics of the lings. Give us a shot or two of the fish without your drysuit in the background,............blends in with the fish. Looks like perfect day. Diving on the ferry?

Yeah, I need to work on  my picture taking.  I was over towards Gedney Island, I haven't dove the ferry this season because wind and tides have sucked.

Small craft advisory today, so looks like Butts tomorrow is the only thing on the radar for now.

Quick pic of one of the cabbie I shot...
