Lochsa River Madness
«
on:
June 04, 2012, 07:15:59 PM »
The wife and I spent the Saturday before Memorial Day at the Lochsa Falls watching the fun. We did not take this video, but this is some of the carnage. My wife and I took the photos. It is a BLAST! If you ever need something to do on Memorial Day weekend you won't regret going to mile marker 114.2 on Hwy 12 in Idaho and watching all the fun!

This girl slammed into the rollback wave like she hit a brick wall, literally sat there surfing and then tried to power thru, rolled upside down and was spit out down stream. She was under so long she had to pop the seal and push out of the boat!

Great photos and vid, I've been pitched off the raft in class 5 water.. That's about where the fun factor becomes pucker factor! Talk about an adrenaline rush though!

Crazy!
We were at a family reunion on Flathead lake last summer.Left there and went over 12 to my wifes cousins in White bird. What a beautiful river.Although it looked much tamer then. We spent the night at 3 Rivers resort. Looked like it was a heck of a place in its hayday. Unfortunately it was a little bit run down when we were there.
I saw these big white things in the river I jokingly told the wife they were huge rolls of toilet paper. Awhile after we got home I rea a little article in the newspaper.Turns out I was right.A truck wrecked an lost a few of those rolls in the river.

Nope just the falls is a perfect level for some awesome action and it's a 3 day weekend!
There was probably 100 folks on the shore cheering and BBQing, heck of a good time!
