I put a small aligator clip on my bino straps and clip the reed to it. Keeps the reed close by for when I need it.

I keep mine in a small plastic baggy ( I think the one that comes with the Bugle boy diaphragm calls ) and place it in the front pocket of what ever I'm wearing.  It all depends what I have to wear for the early season.
I really like the idea of it hanging on the out side of the clothing/pockets to air dry. I'll need to find some kind of clip to hook it to my reed cow call or binos!!  No roach clip here, my wife would question what I'm really doing out in the feild. Maybe a large paper clip hooked to the lanyard, great ideas guys. Thanks!

In one of those old school plastic coin holders.  The kind shaped like a football that you have to squeeze the ends to open it.

I like the Berry coin purse.  They make no noise and are ventilated.  Haven't needed to try anything else.  I have one I've used since the late 80's and still works great.  I don't see them on his website anymore so I'm not sure if he still carries them.  They were only about $2.50 each and available in red and brown.

Currently they are:
