The one good thing of not getting drawn for an elk permit.  I can go another year without buying one....
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

I'm exempt and I'm still against it.

On Saturday we went to the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge for fathers day.

You needed one of these passes for day use.
Interagency Annual Pass (old Golden Eagle),
Senior Pass (old Golden Age)
Access Passport
Federal Duck Stamp
or an Annual Refuge Pass

One of us had one of the passes above we asked the lady in the interpretive center if we needed to put it on the dash she said and I quote "Only if you want to replace your windshield"

Not quite a discover pass reference but I had not thought about some one breaking out a window to steal a pass until right then.
When I pass, do not let my wife sell the guns for what I told her they cost.

I am against it but I bought it to stay legal.

I would probably be ok with it if they ticketed those that don't have it. Contrary to all of the reported tickets, I have yet to hear about (or see) anyone on state land in the Winston get tickets. I still see a ton of vehicles in the Capitol State Forest without the pass as well.

Yes, I understand that enforcement is stretched thin, but damn! Enforce the law.
Leos dont care much, they know how wrong these passes are.
MAGA!  Again..

I am against it.  and if I had one, I absolutely wouldn't display it while driving.  :bdid: Can't stand hanging anything on the mirror, or laying on the dash making distracting reflections in the windshield.  :bdid: who's assinine idea was that? :bash:

You mean you don't have a pair of fuzzy dice?

I can't stand anything hanging from the mirror either!  Even if I bought into the Discover Pass BS I wouldn't hang it there.  :sry:

I will buy the pass, it is the "law", and I will be sure to remember the legislator's that voted for the "law" . The Law is not the problem, it is the legislator's that are the problem. IMHO

I think its important to emphasis that we have a CHOICE in buying one... I CHOOSE to recreate so that i do not need one. I use lands that i can access with my WDFW pass. I refuse to give more $$$ when they do not support me the hunter. $ is all they care about so I will send them a message by not giving them mine.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I bought one to stay legal in Capitol forest and have only seen one other person using one. Haven't seen a single LEO out there either, or heard of anyone getting a ticket except in state parks.

For or against is a moot point anyway.  according to the reports I've read, the Discover Pass is a failure.  The question is, what kind of crap are they going to try to foist onto us next?

YES !!! The assnine gubmint, that we have no control over, makes up assnine laws to screw the people over that pay for their *censored* wages that we can't get rid of. Something is wrong with our corrupt gubmint and we can't fix it. If we could, we'd be in control of OUR gubmint. That will never happen in our lifetime or ever. We are taxed, taxed on taxes, fined for not buying healthcare we can't afford ( illegals get it free ). I'm ranting because it's the way the Americans are always getting the shaft.......................I'm so sick and tired of it, but what the hell can we do, nothing ! We are controlled by a socialist/communist dictatorship gubmint. Just another thought from you hotheaded HW member.....
