Electrical problem. Fried up wires. Hopefully it is an easy fix. Problem is they have to peel the outside of the onion first to see what else could be wrong. So far it's been sitting in the shop with nobody working on it since tuesday.

Taking a friend out to try to get one. Gonna do some calling & hiking. Looks like it's supposed to cool a bit.

Got a buddy up the mtn that's telling me he's got a bear hanging around the acreage  behind his shop...I'll be up there scouting around trying to found out if it's a "shooter" or not.
Sunday is gunna be "iffy" though.

Best of luck to all that venture out this weekend--and be safe!
I left it better than I found it...did you?

Going to try for a Coyle 624 bear. See if I can get a repeat of opening day action. We were shooting the first 15 mins.

I went out this mornin and saw 2 decent sized bears but decided to pass on them.  I just got back from another trip out and saw a big bruin.  Unfortunately I could not get a good shot on him.  He was grabbing berries like crazy but was in a bush and I didnt want to shoot through branches and I didnt want to take a head shot.  Im gonna head back out at 3:00 tomorow mornin.
