Public wants to buy Merrill Lake
« on: June 08, 2012, 08:56:36 AM »
Of all the acquisitions the WDFW is considering, this is the best I've seen.  Already has trails, lake, waterfall, oldgrowth, elk, trout, and next to Mt. St. Helens.
They even filmed part of "Last of the Mohicans" and "Northern Exposure" at Kalama Falls.  Would be a shame for this to be turned into lots and lodges for the rich.

:yeah:  :yeah: Sounds like a good place for a public park/campground to me.

Its a shame this property will be forever excluded from the tax roles. I would have liked to have had the opportunity to buy a lot and put up a cabin.  :'(

Yea like the High Lakes in the Margaret Unit...   :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash:
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.
