That makes a ton more sense, all the elk are still packing that I see on my cameras.  I have pics of them last year, one, still packing the end of april.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

i seen a big bull up at the naches feed station with one horn on tuesday, could have been broke off tho..didnt get a great look at him..

End of March into April.  Note these pics were the end of march, and how many were packing.   YES, there are the outsiders, dropping in February and packing in May.

We were out yesterday and seen over 30 bulls all still packing. We did come up with a small 3 point Blacktail shed though!
Remember that buck is climbing that Mt. every day!
