I noticed that a lot of the OIL draws seem to be doubled with Quality Elk and Quality Buck.  Must be max point holders?    Maybe raising all the prices took a large number of the "lucky 1 point drawers" out of the pools.   :dunno:

Points are a joke...they just give you the impression that you have a chance...My odds would be better if everyone applied with zero points every year.

Congrats to those that drew....Guess Ive been waiting 15 years, whats a few more.

I "STICKIED" this thread so we could keep track of all the OIL tag holders. Please post your OIL tags on here if you haven't done so already. I know there are a couple other threads out there.

Congrats to everyone. I will be watching from the sidelines again this year as I am still unable to pull a tag in this god forsaken state.

The truth is that there are more "max point holders" than there are tags.  Even if you gave ALL the tags out to them every year, it would take years just to clean out the guys that have been applying since 1996.  That's just the reality of applying in a state that has more hunters than game.  There's really no "good" answer.

I luckily drew the Mt Clemons early sheep tag (14 pts), and also the late season Palouse WT tag (1 pt). I'm very excited about the sheep tag, and would appreciate any location advice if  anyone knows the best place to find them. I grew up in Selah, but it has been a long time since I have hunted on Clemons.

My niece drew her S. Mt. Spokane youth moose. The last three years I got kudos for putting her in but now I am in the running for uncle of the year. I can't wait for her to get home from school to let her know.

Congrats everyone on their successful draws and good luck.

I drew one of the any moose tags for Mt. Spokane North, as well as a second deer North Spokane (archery).  Found out on Sat., probably should of bought a powerball ticket but I didn't.  Good luck to all that drew any OIL tags.

Yikes!!!  How about this for a double.  Selah Butte sheep tag and Margaret rifle elk bull tag.  Looks like November will be a very busy month for me.  Also, I'm already going to Arizona antelope hunting in September, so maybe I should be buying lots of powerball tickets and entering the Arizona Super Raffle in July as well!!!  I think they are about the same odds, by the way.
