I did see a pic. of a big bear. 492lbs. shot around Humptulips. I would like to know how they got it out to weigh it, and if it true?

When you say "on" humptulips does that imply that it is on a reservation? I thought that a lot of the land around there was public? Just curious.

I don't know if that impies the rez or not but I know that there are some big ones out there.

HP, it doesn't have to come out whole to be weighed.

ya, your right billythekidrock. I don't think it was on the rez. I work with a guy that Knows who killed it, he said he kills big bear every year.

I saw a Bear on the Qweets Res last thursday evening that may have been pushing the scale towards 600 lbs. It looked like a minivan crossing the road, took up one whole lane from nose to tail. The other bear with it looked like a 400 lb'er. It was strange seeing 2 bears that large together.
Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.
He who shed blood with me shall forever be my brother.
