Moose Hunting Videos?
« on: August 09, 2008, 06:36:46 AM »
For those of you who have watched moose hunting videos could save me money and time on finding good videos that show how-to calling. Any advice would be appreciated.

PA Ben'
I have both 1&2 of the series and I think of the dozen or so DVDs I have it shows the best calling sequences I have seen. All of the kills on these DVDs are rifle but calling moose is calling moose. It also illustrates calling and tree raking using a fiberglass megaphone that Wayne Kubat markets. I purchased this online. If you buy one of these, buy it soon and set it outside for a while to air out. The fibreglass has to have a chance to "outgass" as it is pretty stinky coon after its manufacture. The megaphone makes a great sound when mouth calling and also magnifies your hearing when put to your ear. His web site is www.alaskaremote.com

I suggest getting a membership to huntflix.com and renting all the moose videos.  They have every one out there I think.  It's easy like netflix.

Right on Shawn, thanks for the info, I had no idea there was such a thing.
