Awesome that is goods to hear. Now we just need to figure out our schedules and get over there scouting. How far back would you say is the minimum to get into good hunting?

When you guys were hunting it did you find the bulls up on the ridges or more down in the valleys? I know during the summer they are going to be else where but come September I want to know the areas they are actually going to spend their time. I Figure find the cows and bulls won't be to far.

I drew a Goose Prairie bull tag for archery.  First time in 9 tries!  I have been hunting it for the past nine years and know it really well so I am hoping to have some stories to share in September.  Oh and I drew a cow tag for the unit as well!  Should be a great hunt!

Bulls stayed up high, came down in the late evening to the meadows, and ran back up every morning early.  Find a good spot to ambush... or a nice wallow to sit by....

Hopefully we can locate some during scouting. We will see what we can turn up. Thanks for the response
