I can't wait to hear your story! I am in a similar position! My dad (71) and his LONG time friend (76) and hunting buddy applied as a group for the 65 or older cow tags and they were lucky enough to get the only 2 for that same area! They are so excited to have the chance at a moose of any kind....they sound like kids again when they talk about it! I am trying to gather as much info for them as well and hope to tag along and film the hunt. They are both disabled hunters and can only hike a small distance. I feel like the parent excited for their kid to shoot something....I'm sure like my dad has felt about me in the past....I can't wait!
So, who knows the magic way to tell a good scoring Moose? My goal is to get a P&Y bull. Here's what I've gathered..3 brow tines & good paddles, what other things do I look for? How wide are their ears, is that a good way to tell what the spread is?
