Good luck DR Death (Sean) ....

You should go up for some early fall turkey hunting with Lil Buck (maybe early morning and late evening) and then socut the area for moose in between --- just saying Lil Buck seemed pretty excited for you and your hunt this morning on the way to work.
I'ld go but have too many other irons in the fire  ... love the area and the people though.

Alittle over a week till I leave......sleeping is getting harder and harder to get....mind is going a mile a minute going through things.. I think I have a good plan and good areas to check out, but you always second guess yourself.  I have got some great info from people on this site...Thank you all for that!

Some more info candy for you.  It is DRY as a bone over there, BUT there are good creeks running. So the water is in areas that look moosey. Ran into one of the many dozens of woodcutters in teh area. He said he has seen a large congragation of bulls just south of Davis lake. I did not have time to check it out, but he was very excited to tell me about that. (nice folk up there)... I did get a bull to respond to a cow call. Never saw him (deep dark timber), but he was wuh'ing at about 3 second intervals, then bolted. Probably smelt me. Good luck and may the meat be glorious.

Good luck to you guys. The moose are just starting to get interested in cow calls here. One good cold snap and it's on. I'll be goat and moose hunting this time next week too. Long ass drive 1st!

Thanks!. Getting all the meat haulers I have lined up to learn about calling too.... Two have never hunted, but are so interested in it, they are getting the bug for sure. Fun to watch them grow from the uneducated,  to fired up guys eager to learn the ways.... admission fee is hauling 200 lbs of meat... .that simple :).

I wish all of our resources werent already commited to other hunts or options b,c,d and e fell through.

Any one willing to be part of this hunt and help out by running a camera the first few days until Shane can arrive, I will hook you up with a custom call package (elk, turkey, predator or any combination up to $150).

Not to mention if the footage and hunt turns out you may just get to watch your work on T.V.  I want to stress we are just regular hunters who have a passion for trying to capture our hunts on video.

If you are interested let me, Dr death or Shane know and we can get you the details.
