Manastash Antlerless
« on: June 11, 2012, 09:44:56 AM »
My son and I, and our group, drew antlerless muzzy this year. Hopefully we can put some meat in the freezer. It has been a while. I have also eaten a couple of these tags in past. It's not always as easy as one thinks.

I've eaten that tag twice. I missed a cow the second year so I have no excuse. Good luck.

I just filled that tag last year.  We probably saw 70 or 80 cows last year.  I just had to wait until that cow season opened.  I picked one out of a herd of about 40 elk below the observatory.  Just hunt hard, last year the elk werent moving too much, we had to go find them, we were on the elk all week.  Get in the the steep, thick, and nasty, you'll see them.
