Wolf attack yellow stone.
« on: June 11, 2012, 10:56:18 AM »
Bound to happen. Rick

Lobo Watch

Wolf attack in YNP is confirmed by the top -dog Doug Smith in Yellowstone National Park. A man was chased into a river by a pack of wolves, and he remained in the river long enough, without any other "mode" of escape of safety and had to be revitalized for extreme "cold- temperatures." Again this attack has been confirmed in YNP by Doug Smith, and another park official. There is also a witness to the attack, of a pack of 5 wolves chasing this man into the river.

Must've been hybrids. Wolves are wild animals and therefore would never do something like that unprovoked. Must be a conspiracy driven by none other than Gee Dubb. Bush is probably behind all this anti-wolf stuff anyway. He IS an evil rancher. I hope the wolves were ok.

But I thought wolves were shy and ran from people.  He must have been old, sick and weak.

Good, the more of this that happens in national parks the better :twocents:  When it happens in our own backyard and ranches no one cares or knows, but you cant keep stuff like this attack from making the news.

Was just on my way over here to post this!  Here's a follow up post from Lobowatch:

"Bea James Baker
YNP ph# 307-344-7381, Doug Smith. Scott B Rockholm (Yellowstone is Dead) has interviewed Doug Smith. Doug has acknowledged an incident but with a much different story line. Here is the quoted info from Scott's post: "Doug Smith is claiming that A female wolf escorted a man away from the den site. My source said that 5 wolves moved on the man until he retreated to the river, where the man floated a mile with wolves following. More to come." Will keep you all informed."

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
