quiver for hunting?
« on: June 12, 2012, 11:14:13 AM »
What do you guys use for a quiver while hunting? Just one of those quivers on the side of the bow?

Also, how many arrows do you usually take with you on a hunt?

are you back country hunting? if so get a seven or more arrow quiver, if not a 4-6 arrow is fine. i dont like to shoot with a bow mounted one but just take it off when setup. hip quiver if you fall you will eat or break your arrows. back quiver good luck reaching an arrow real fast. i have a fuse 1 pc. 7 arrow and it works for the hunting i do.

Tight Spot 5 arrow quiver for me.  It is bomb proof, quiet, and removable.

I hunt with four arrows in the quiver & also have a bow mount.  Mine is a quick disconnect model and since I do a lot of stand hunting it is easy to remove.  Before religiously removing it , I have had the extra arrows scrape trees / bushes, get caught in my pant leg while drawing etc.  Just one less thing to ruin the shot.   Mike
