How do you sew your sheeths steve?  Do you do it by hand or do you use a machine?  Just curious.

Hey Guys... I've got several orders on the pegs, but I'm waiting for components on all of them! Soooooo..... #24, #31, and #A2 have been pulled to be built on speculation and will be placed up for sale soon. Probably by April 1 or 2. They're all built, just have to do the finish work, and photograph them!

Also... as soon as I get the next batch back from heat treat (very soon), I'll be updating the photos of the blades that are still up for sale, and posting them right here in the tail end of this thread, so it's easier to see what's available.

I'm leaving all the old photos, so you can look back and see the blank that the finished knife came from. But if you're interested in a Custom, watch here for the updated pics... All available blades will be posted together.

  I was just thinking that a lot of us would truely love seeing a knife come together throught the differn't stages.  If you wanted to show Teachermans knife in stages as you build it it would give us mundanes an idea what it takes

I did that a long time ago. Step by step. Don't know if it's still up, I had to houseclean on photobucket recently. I'll see what I can do...

All of these have been ground by me, and heat treated by Gene Martin, of Provision Forge... except for the 3 production units, of course.

Lettered A thru X. Please feel free to contact me and ask specific questions... or to request dimensions and close-ups. (The production Chef's Knife at the bottom center is 12.5" overall.)

A and B are 8670 Tool Steel.
C thru J are ATS 34 Stainless.
K, L, M, are production 440C Stainless.
N thru V are D2.
W and X are Damascus

Here's a couple pics of Damascus #1...


Ended up doing an elk antler grip, triple spaced, with musk ox ends and silver nickle pins. I put a twist damascus guard on it. Came out really nice!
