Ok, here's 3 blades in 1095. 3/16" thick, slightly tapered tangs...
#18, (SOLD PF) 8 1/2" overall, 3 1/2" cutting edge. Deep skinner.
#10, 9" overall, 4 1/2 cutting edge, single edged boot.
#9, (PULLED to be built to spec...) 8 1/2" overall, 4" cutting edge, traditional multi-purpose.

Here's #3....
Here's #4....
Both were custom gripped to the buyer's specifications. #3 has a matching enclosed reed echo chamber bleat/bawl call.

I forgot to get you the pic of the sheath for color but lets finish the sheath the color of the cocobolo. Nice and dark.

The knife and call turned out awesome. Hopefully I can put them to good use this season.
Now we need to figure out what to do with #18.

Got mine yesterday Steve. Wow is it ever nice. I love the blade. Super sharp too! The leather is a perfect piece. Thick and very nicely shaped and fitted. I love it!
One question is how should I care for this steel?

Just keep it clean and oil it a few times per year.

I had never seen a kydex sheath prior to getting the one from Steve. It works really slick, and is extremely secure.

Blade #12
Musk Ox bolsters, Nickle Pins, Quilted Sapele Scales, White and Brick Carbon spacers.
I really like this Coffin handle once it's finished, looks very cool and feels great in the hand. Gonna do more of these, that's for sure!
