not to piss in your pot but 2 total days and muzzy? leave for nevada early
:yeah:
A day in, A day out... that leaves you about 15-20 minutes to hunt.  It is doable?

Exactly.

hate to burst your bubble but most guys that hunt the Wenaha for a week only see a handful of deer. You could get lucky though.

That's my experience.  A day in, another day out.  If you go in and find your deer this summer I think I would hike in 2 or 3 days before the season to locate him again.  Sounds like you are going to have to kill him on opening day or eat the tag.  Good luck.

The unit dont look that big on a map, but will make you feel small when your in the middle of it.  Not a high deer area, but the cover and big, steep terrain can grow some big ones.

If you don't appreciate the opportunity you got to hunt there, you shouldn't have put in for it. Lots of other people would give their left nut to hunt that unit with that tag. Sounds like you could care less.

I agree. A little frustrating to read isn't it. People who put in just to put in... Then the rest of us get screwed and a tag is wasted. And it happens all the time!

Don't worry guys the tag isn't a wasted one.  Two days is plenty of time for him to shoot a buck.  He's proven that many times before.
