Pimos X cam sale
« on: June 14, 2012, 09:17:49 AM »
Saw that these are for sale the other day at cabela's in their mail flyer. In-store $119 and on-line $129 till June 17th.

 http://www.cabelas.com/product/Primos174-TruthCam-X-Trail-Camera/727918.uts?Ntk=AllProducts&searchPath=%2Fcatalog%2Fsearch.cmd%3Fform_state%3DsearchForm%26N%3D0%26fsch%3Dtrue%26Ntk%3DAllProducts%26Ntt%3Dprimos%2Bx%26WTz_l%3DHeader%253BSearch-All%2BProducts&Ntt=primos+x&WTz_l=Header%3BSearch-All+Products

This seems like a great deal! Not sure if they are closing these out due to the new ultra and blackout cams but who cares. I purchased two a couple of days ago at the Tulalip store and am thinking about getting a couple more. Not sure if Lacey is sold out but you can order them at the store and have them shipped to the store for free.

The reviews on them from the Cabela's website are really bad.  Have you had better results?

Bobcat has posted some good write ups recently. Check out some of his reviews.

Spy Point G4 trail cams from Gander Mnt have over 200 reviews and still have a 4.6 star rating.  They are on sale for $99, free shipping and no tax! If you buy something that costs another $1.01 you can get a $20 off coupon too, so they actually are only about $80 ea.

The SpyPoints may be the way to go for a cheap camera.  I took a chance and bought 3 of the Tasco 3mp cams - $50 each at walmart.  Reviews seem pretty good considering the price, but we'll see...   :dunno:

Check out the pics of the goats by shanevg on the thread tited "Spypoint".  They were taken by a spypoint, although I don't think it states what model.
