RaffleMule, that was a giant! Bet he was hard to pass up on. You ended up with one bigger, right?
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

I live in this unit  and have been seeing some does but the other morning noticed six deer in the yard one looked like a buck so grabed the binos it was six bucks and one was gonna be a five point.   I tried to take pics but they were into the sun and I could not get a decent pic!

It wasn't too hard to pass because at this point in the hunt I was still convinced I was going to see a 200'..... :o

The deer was only at 100 yds so I was set up on my shooting sticks right next to my H.S. buddy who was filming it.  The deer was in the crosshairs for a short period of time.

I think the deer I shot is bigger, I guess it depends on how big you think that deer is.  I know mine is wider and has more mass but the fronts on that deer were huge.

I got lucky on the deer hunt and shot the biggest deer I saw......can't say the same for elk.     :bash:  Just the way it goes if you want to hold out for a "holy sh*t" animal.
