new hunting bow after ten years
« on: June 17, 2012, 09:36:51 PM »
I just bought the new PSE EVO from Teddy at Lucky Shot, It is going to be hard to hang up the old Hoyt, but its time. The new bow shoot good, still needs some work, I  am looking forward to only shooting 60 lbs. The bow shoots 299.10  with my Easton ACC 3-60s at 28.5'' and a 100 gr point. I always give my old bows away to someone who wants to get into the sport of archery, so my brother in law is now the proud owner of a Hoyt Ultra tech that has over twenty big game kills on it. I am so looking forward to this hunting season even more

Wrongway, you will enjoy your evo. I just got mine set up and almost tuned. Right now it's shooting very nice and hitting with a lot of umph  I am not shooting 70 instead of 60 and can't believe the power it hits with...

I put a lot of meat in the freezer with the UltraTec as well, but it was never the bow I thought it was going to be or wished it was.  Sounds like the EVO and arrow set up is a damn good one.  If you are like me you will wonder why you didn't switch sooner after that first elk with the new bow hits the dirt!  Good decision. Best of luck.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."
