I've killed some nice White Tail bucks like those.......   in my dreams.

We've always chased elk and muleys, But my son did draw the Gardner late Whitetail buck tag this year, so I plan to get to know a little more about Whiteys.......

 "I find that my plan is never pretty." I love that quote! I stick to a pretty solid plan for b-tails, muleys, elk, and bears but it seems no matter how good my whitetail plans are they usually blow up the first five steps into the woods. Thanks for sharing your knowledge DB.

 :chuckle: My plans are always messy. It's rare that every thing works out exactly as I planned so I am always making adjustments.... but it's awesome when they pay off.
