Mega Arms Monolithic quad upper, quality stout stuff!
« on: June 18, 2012, 07:41:49 PM »
I decided to give the Mega Arms Monolithic upper a try, I have only viewed photos of builds using Maga Arms stuff. I have never handled any of it, I decided on the quad rail rifle length model. I went ahead and got it with the matching billet lower. Upon first inspection it is well built, packaged well, very light and I really like the slimmer feel of the forend as compared to many other free floating quad rails I have owned or used. I left the lower in the box and locked it on one of my favorite SNS carbine lowers.

There is absalutly  no play between the two, even with a bolt carrier group not in place. I dressed it up the way I'm going to run it and next week when time permits. I'll install a 16", 7 twist, Noveski Recon barrel and see how it runs.

Let us know. I've been hearing good things about Mega for a little while now.
