Anybody got their permit in the mail yet?
« on: June 20, 2012, 12:55:58 PM »
I have read some posts around the board over the course of the last few days of people getting thier elk permits they were drawn for....

Well, I just called the WDFW to confirm that mine had been sent and they said they are not being sent until July 15th.

is that right?

I think your talking about the "invcentive" tags they send out for reporting your harvest, ect..... Those have been sent out I believe.

"Draw" tags havent been sent yet.

That was the email I got from them, never said a specific day, just by mid-July.

Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.

My permits were delivered this morning, along with detailed maps of my permit areas, showing areas of high damage or where animals are spotted on a regular basis by employees out and about, master key or combos depending on the individual gate, and a voucher for any Shell gas station for $500.00 in gas money to assist in my hunt.

I have to admit, I was very surprised, even shocked, when, here it is, June 21st and the Easter Bunny was still out and making his rounds!!!!    :IBCOOL:

It is better to be consistently incorrect than inconsistently correct...

Sarcasm: The ability to insult stupid people without them realizing it.

My level of sarcasm depends on your level of stupidity...

Sarcasm makes smart people laugh and stupid people mad.

Zip so far for deer and elk.
You'll never get a Big'un if you keep shooting Little'un's.

I got something in the mail today. Doesn't say which permit I drew just says dear successful permit applicant, and goes on talking about some access programs they are working on for my hunt. Interesting I got this before I got the official letter saying I drew the tag.
