This year for her b-day my wife got a awesome looking new nightster 1200 custom, she has been riding it to night classes on nice days. well this evening she stopped to fill up the tank on it. On her way out of the gas station she was approached by two large men, who started questioning her about her bike. My wife only being 5'2 was already nervous when they approached but when the one asked for the keys she knew it was about to get ugly. She calmly reached into her jacket ( she keeps the keys in her inside pocket along with her wallet, right next to her shoulder holstered xd45) and instead of the keys she pulled out the XD, apparently the two freaked out and ran away as fast as they could( good move on their part). now for the funny part of the story, one of the men left behind one wet boot print with ever step her ran, no wet prints leading up to the bike only away from. Think they will think twice about approaching a woman biker again, and probably change their underwear when they get back to what ever hole they crawled out of.
guys I encourage you all to teach your children and spouse how to shoot, get them a firearm when they are of age and a cwp you never know when they will need it.

Made my heart pump just reading it! Glad she was armed and didn't have to fire, as a side note I hope there's no way the men know where you live, that's one thing that always worries me about pulling a gun on someone that leaves the scene because they were unarmed; them coming back armed.

I dont think in this case that would be a problem, the wet boot pretty well took that notion away  :chuckle:

Glad your wife is okay. My wife just got her CWP and is going to take some classes on gun safety and marksmanship. She is rather accurate with the hand gun now but any training is a good thing.

Glad to hear she is ok. My fiancé was puting groceries away in the back of her jeep a while back at our local Safeway when a drunk idiot came up and started bothering her. She was very scared and told him to leave but he kept heckling her   Luckily I was just coming out of the store with some things we forgot. After a quick chat he decided it would be best to go away. Who knows what would of happened if I did not come outside when I did.  This was around 5pm in the broad day light so u never know when or where it can happen.

I think that this had a great ending by the guys leaving without harming your wife. It took courage for her to do what she did. She did not have the cover of being inside of a vehicle. There are just a bunch of brazen people that feel that societies rules do not apply to them.

I wonder if the gas station had cameras that could ID these guys. Even if nothing could be done to these guys (not sure) it might rattle them to know that people really knew who they are. Maybe they have done other things and this could help add up against them with the law. It also would be cool to post the pictures of them to let others know who they are.

Sounds like she did the right thing and surprised the heck out of those guys. I think the more that this happens and becomes common knowledge that citizens are packing, the more the bad guys might think about not trying these stupid ideas.

a police report was filed, and I think they pulled the gas station footage. My wife was a medic in the army for awhile, and I also started working with her on things like this since I spent a lot of time either in the field or deployed  thanks for the support guys.
