no he is not grey around the head it just his coat shinning. i shot this guy in the late after noon at 10-15 yards i called him in and shot him twice with the 300 win mag and yes he did need it lol but thats pretty much it!

Nice Bear, I'm hoping to get out on sat. to check my ole spot. Havent hunted there in about 7-8 years, used to be full of bear,cougars and elk. Will let you guys know what I find.
