Title: WTB-House in Buckley Enumclaw area
Post by: wamuledeer on September 16, 2020, 08:47:04 AM
Pickings seem to be slim on the market so just checking if any hunt wa members know of anything maybe coming to market soon. Looking for a 3-4 br home with plenty of garage space or a shop and room for rv and boat parking. Ideally 1/4-1/2 acre or more. 400-500k range.

Im a realtor in and from Buckley. Inventory is extremely low right now.  But, what you're looking for is not impossible. My eye is on that market every single day as my family and a another client are currenlty looking in the area.

I will private message you

Same boat as you but nervous to buy right now. Actually been looking for a year now just haven't found what we wanted yet.

Good luck!

I am not having much luck. Houses are going for 40-50 or more over asking. Last one I offered on had 24 offers in 4 days.
Also I should have mentioned I have a realtor already. I was looking for something that maybe hasnít hit the market yet. I may just wait this out as I donít want to be stupid in this market.

Good luck in your search, it seems like what you are looking for is rare these days.

Coming from someone that has lived here my entire life (31 years) its absolutely devastating to see what this area is turning into.

It is true. Most properties are going 20-50k over asking with the buyer paying that in cash.  It is tough, but with the exodus from Seattle, folks moving south along with essentially guaranteed low interest rates over the next couple years..SADLY..I dont think we will see the market go down much at all.

For those that choose to wait, unfortunately its looking HIGHLY likely that could be at minimum 2 years.

My neighbors house just listed last week and seems pretty close to fitting your bill. I'll see if I can find the link

Edit: can't seem to find the listing anywhere, maybe it's already sold. Yikes
