New Custom Leather
« on: November 30, 2019, 01:27:52 PM »
Figured a Custom 1911 deserved a Custom Holster,  got ahold of Paul @ Warbird Leather and told him what I wanted . He nailed it with the Gray Ostrich.  He had to custom widdle a wood rail since this gun has a Dawson rail instead of the standard picatinney . Pretty fast turn around too at 6 weeks.
Anyone that thinks a Glock is better than a 1911 paints his toenails.

Sweet!
I have many Kydex and they are totally functional for what they were designed for.  But there is something especially sexy about a nicely done leather holster.

Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.

I agree , I've always been a Kydex guy or an off the shelf mass produced leather guy . After this one I'm thinking about a nice all out BBQ Holster
