Pasayten/Methow valley sheds
« on: July 08, 2021, 04:22:34 PM »
Any experience from guys looking for sheds in the Pasayten? Are they around up there? Or are they more likely found lower down the valley by the chewuch/ methow river? Heading up into the high country and wondering if I should even be looking for sheds at 3-7k in elevation.

Found a set of Muley sheds above 5,000’ back in 2015 when there was no snow during that winter.

I find most of my good elk sheds between 3k and 4k. Not a good at finding deer sheds but early in your hike you may find an elk horn

Remember, there has to be deer to find sheds
