No access pass for Mica IEP?
« on: September 26, 2021, 09:24:29 AM »
There’s an “*” for mica that says no pass needed for mica IEP land.   Assume that means I can hunt it without having a permit. Just want to make sure before I trespass.

Pretty sure you have to have permit. Call them tomorrow. And that’s if it’s opened.
Most the private timber companies closed land mid summer due to fire danger. I haven’t heard if that has changed.

Buck Creek and Mica Peak do not require access permits. These are non-motorized areas only.

That’s a direct quote from their webpage. I’m no scholar, but I’m pretty certain you don’t need a permit.  :chuckle:

Edit to add: Their page also shows their motorized access areas as open, no longer closed for fire danger.
