3D Archery Target Recommendations
« on: May 07, 2024, 07:27:08 AM »
I'm looking for recommendations for a 3D buck target. I would like to have one with a replaceable insert and the vital rings instead of the circles. It will most likely live outside full time, but in the shade. I'll be shooting Easton FMJ 5mms at it mostly field points and then broadheads closer to season.

I have shot bow a lot as a kid and am now just getting back into it, I have a block target and an old foam target that doesn't stop arrows very well anymore. I've been trying to shoot every day for at least 30 minutes, so the 3D target will be used a lot.

The Rinehart and Delta McKenzie brands have been what I've been looking at a lot already.

Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Rinehart is my favorite.

I only use field points on mine and save the broadheads for their 18-1 block target.

The higher end Rinehart are to expensive for me to chew up with broadheads.

:yeah:

Most clubs use Rhinehart targets for a reason, but they aren't cheap!
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
