2014 F150 window issue
« on: January 22, 2025, 05:52:10 PM »
So my passenger side front window won't roll down with either the master switch or the door switch. Things I've checked so far: the fuses, relay and breaker are all good.  The switch checks out with continuity.  I'm getting 12.4 volts at the motor harness when I activate the switch on both the up and down control wires.  I went to Autozone and bought a new motor and tried it in the parking lot and it didn't work. (I checked to make sure I could return it before I bought it.) Any other Ideas?  Maybe a coincidence but the first time I noticed it not working was right after my battery died and I jump started it.

Yes. Google search “recalibrate 2014 f150 window motor.”

You have got this.

Found the problem.  The socket that the door wiring harness  plugs into corroded and a pin broke off.  Looks like I'll have to remove part of the dash to provide access to replace the plug.
