The new BX®-4 McKinley™ HD binocular will not only change the way you see game, it changes the game completely. The HD lenses provide amazing optical returns to deliver the most vivid colors and sharpest picture you can find. And, with full flat field of view, you get it across the entire visual field. Add in Leupold’s legendary rugged dependability, and you may never need another pair of binoculars. The closer you look, the more you’ll see.

How's the leupold high end stuff compare?

there was a guy selling the 12x50 Leupold Mojave for a good price on craigslist.  As long as they are real ones which they look good, you could call leupold and check the serial number.  Then buy them save some money from new ones and the best thing if there is anything wrong with them send them back to Leupold they will fix them for free or send you a brand new pair.  Hands down the best glasses for your money! and service is excellent!  I own this pair in camo they are awesome.  Same size and weight as the 10x50 but you can see those little extra details at longer distances.  Awesome binos! my  :twocents:

Here is the ad from craigslist I don't know him just saw it on there the other night.

I have for sale my Leupold Mojave 12x50 Binoculars. They come with case and Bino Buddy shoulder straps. These are great Binoculars for the price, Very clear and in good shape.

I have been saving pennies for a pair of swaro's for a while now but the more I look at other glass the more I am second guessing myself.  The vortex razor's I think are right on par with the swaro's.  Granted my only experience with swaro bino's are my buddy's slc's.   The hard part about buying bino's is being able to test them out where it actually matters, in the field.  You can look through glass all day long in the store but that really doesn't tell you much.  Thats why you always here guys saying they can't see the difference between swaro's and bushnells!  On that note anybody have a pair of razors they want to loan me for a week in may for bear season? :chuckle:

I got Minox binos 8x42 and love them .....I think you should have few pair of binos anyway ,have some 10power and maybe even 12 for longer distance spotting ......I agree that light transmission early in the day a late in the evening is also very important as is in scope selection ......
Everyone thinks that I'm freak ,I don't look different do I ?

To the op, my choice would be save a few pennies more and grab the Vortex Viper HD 10X42. Best bang for the buck out there! $599 map!
Used a pair on my last brown bear hunt and also on a S. African safari. Clear and sharp in both extremes! Lifetime transferable warranty! Win-Win!

Outstanding offer mountainman, thank you!  I get after it pretty hard and would be too scared to scratch up your $1200 binos that I am not yet ready to purchase so I will have to pass on borrowing them for a hunt but I would love to come up and give em a good looking over one day.  Also since you have way more knowledge about this than me are the razors worth the extra coin over the viperHD's?

Offer still stands if interested, no worry on this end. For the nth degree os sharpness, yes. If you are spending 8-10 hours a day behind them lik I do when hunting, yes. A little less eye fatigue. But for clarity, weight, strength and other features, for the price, the viper hd.Left my pair with my PH in Africa and he is still pounding the heck out of them. If the coin is there, The Razor, but the HD is a CLOSE 2nd!

Keep saving and get some used Swaro EL 10x42   you will not regret it and never need to buy another cheaper pair  :twocents:

Agreed, buy once cry once. I got a smoking deal on a set of Swarovski's.

Vortex are cost less than half the price, have a killer warranty looked through the swarovski's and my vipers and there is not $1000+ difference in glass.
