So sad, I am able to lay in bed and write this, because there are people like Captain Aaron R. Blanchard in this world. Running towards helicopters to help fight the enemy. And to fight for my/our freedom in this country.

God Bless Captain Aaron R. Blanchard and his Family.

R.I.P. COLOCKUMELK
I will keep my guns, money and freedom. You can keep the change!

I just can not find any words worthy of expressing my appreciation and sorrow.

First thread I opened today and I didn't want to acknowledge it as possible. So I said nothing.
After coming to the realization of truth I was so filled with grief I could not write anything.  So I said nothing.
Later my grief turned to great anger and I kept it off the board.  So I said nothing.
And though we had just begun building our friendship and making plans for his return I feel such loss that words just seem inadequate.  But I need to say something.

I want to say something profound, something comforting and something that expresses my emotions while showing the family how much I appreciate them sharing this man with Hunt Washington and myself.  And yet nothing seems expressive or heart felt enough for the way I feel.

God bless heroes like Aaron.
God bless the families of our fallen heroes.
Lord please comfort us and help us heal our wounds of war.
Though the time you gave us was far too short, thank you Lord for the time we did have.
I now know what a true hero believes in, what he sounds like, and what he acts like.
My life was so much better on the day you took him than the day I met him because you gave me the opportunity to know him.
And though my sorrow tomorrow will undoubtedly lead me to curse you.  I will continue to praise you for what you have given.

I will miss you Colockumelk.  Thank you for reaching out and becoming my friend.

He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."
