That wreath is absolutely spectacular.  I am also sorry I couldn't attend.  I am not a religious man but at 11 today I stepped out into our friends garage took my hat and bowed my head.  Then put my sumnglassres on because something got in my eye again.  Thank you too all who went to show the forums support to this young man.  :salute:

Aaron had more zeal comparable to mine than we ever had the time to hash out. He called me a Friggen Moron and I called him a Ideot with emoticons and we were set to do battle. But I'm old and he was young. My kid's are adult now and His are so young.  :cryriver:

I suck in my breath every time I see a thread here honoring him. I felt this pain in the 70's. This is his time. His wish. I didn't die in vain so we could crumple. He died so we could live and every service man who's ass was bailed out of a jam.

God bless that Man for his devotion to LIFE.

Now we all have it today. His family wants us to remember HIS LIFE!

He was inspirational in so many areas of life I wish I did know him. We would hate each other for a few years before we laid down the arms and drink beer in peace.

He wants us to LIVE FREE.

God bless you Aaron. My son's name is Aaron. So we understand each other more than you or me had the chance to find out.

I would like to take a moment to thank everyone that attended today and all who kept Aaron in their thoughts.  It was the highlight of my day to have met several of you today.  I stayed strong most of the day but when I got to shake hands and hug a few members on here I got very emotional.  Lots of family and old friends attended today but the love and support from the members of this site is unlike anything I have ever experienced in my lifetime.  To finally meet the people behind the keyboards was an honor.  It truly was the highlight of my day and for that I say thank you.  I wish I could have sat down and talked with all of you but I could hardly shake a hand and someone else was tapping me on the shoulder.  For that I am sorry.   YOU GUYS FREAKING ROCK!!!!!!!!!!

Karl, sorry I didn't shake your hand! I figured there would be a better place and time.  We should meet up sometime and talk Elk Hunting...

I was not fortunate enough to have known the Capt. personally.  I did trade a couple of messages here and enjoyed the exchanges.  My executive officer was able to attend the service yesterday.  He and the Capt. were friends at college and crossed paths in flight school.  I was able to fly with him this morning and we talked a bit about the service.  He was truly amazed at the outpouring of respect and compassion that the members of this forum displayed.  We observed a moment of silence over the Olympics this morning.  God bless him and his family.

Dude again sorry for the harsh words I may have had RIP got so many tears now it isn't funny never figure when your in a heated debate the other end could pay the ultimate price. I'm humbled now.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter
