going up tacoma creek up there you can not hunt on the right hand side of the road...the left side is open. also the survival school is required to change the location of the students every five years so they dont run out all the animals....last summer they moved the students to ruby creek and well since i am up there very often for the military the deer, elk, bears, and the damn moose have become more relaxed in that area and more viewable (if thats a word)

I'm considering hunting that area, Elk Archery Season.  This will be my first year actually Elk hunting and I'm super excited!  I'm still debating on 3 areas, with that being one of them.  I'll be hooking up the travel trailer, the evening of Sept. 3rd and heading out until Sept 8th.  Unfortunately, that's about all the elk hunting I'll be able to do.  I'll be in school during late elk...UGH!
