Server Upgrade NOW - Forum will be down for at least an hour!

   Well I don't even believe that. It seems that every time we upgrade servers we have more problems than anticipated.

Here are the reasons for the server upgrade:

- Hard Drive is 91% full
- The YouTube mod will not work and it appears to be a server problem
- Auto Notifications are also a problem, none are being sent since about the same time as the YT problems started

I have had an SMF Support Specialist look at the forum and he has even reloaded the mod that allows us to post YT videos. It worked for a short while and then quit working again. He feels it's a server problem, since I was already considering another server upgrade I am now planning on upgrading the server as soon as possible and it's hoped that this will also solve the YouTube and Auto Notifications problems.

However, this time we are doing an in house server upgrade meaning the new server is at the same location (company) as the old server.

I will post a notification when the server upgrade will occur and if the forum is down for an extended time please fell free to check for updates or post discussions on the H-W facebook page https://www.facebook.com/HuntingWashington until the forum is back online.

not sure when exactly, they said they wanted to do it asap, the night crew is shorthanded so my midnight schedule was not posssible

I've been looking things over for about 30 minutes, I think most things are working well. The cache for most internet providers will take a few hours to update before most members will be able to login to the site.

Anyone can go to the Hunting-Washington facebook page and get instructions on how to login right away, but it is a little complicated.

Any way to make us able to log in through our phones? We don't have cmd prompt on those.. ?

Cant seem to get on the forum via tapatalk, says "this forum is either restricting access from tapatalk or the installed tapatalk plugin is not working. please contact your forum administrator"

I even logged out and relogged in and it doesn't work Before it also said the API is expired but still let me on. Not sure whats up. Thanks!!

For phones, Just go into your browsers, Clear your "Cache" Restart browser, should be good to go. Worked for me

My main internet browser for my cell phone works fine thats what I'm typing on now, my tapatalk app is whats not connecting. All my other forums on tapatalk connect just not huntwa one!

I'm not sure it's a problem with tapatalk, we just upgraded to the latest version of tapatalk this week, but I will ask the server administrator if tapatalk is broken. Each internet service provider has a cache of websites and some renew quicker than others, most likely tapatalk has not renewed their cache yet so they are still trying to login to the old server.

The only problem so far is that the spell check didn't work when I made my first post after the upgrade. It didn't work when I tried for this post either.
