More timberland closed to hunting

Just learned today that an area near Hood Canal that my family and I have hunted for 30 years has been closed to make way for the spandex, horse and cross training crowd >:(...several square miles of very productive timberland now closed to hunting. >:(

Just had to vent....

I heard theat they can't open it to spacific user groups? Who is doing it??

The general impression that I recieved is that it's their land and that they can and will do as they wish with it. Pope Resources.

are you refering to the area behind the gate accross from high way 19?
