Not connected by area, only connected by the fact that the fish are treated like garbage and the waste is ignored.

Or down the street in tribal members yards, four foot high piles with a tarp over them. Never understood that... Pretty sure they were not freezing or drying them to feed the sled dogs all winter...

It wasnt too many years ago that the skagit was full of them. I used to go down there after school and catch them until my arms were sore. The nets have taken their toll, its only a matter of time until the silver fishing goes that direction.

Dont worry last year wdfw planted 150,000.00 smolts in the east fork of the lewis. This river used to be the record holding winter stealhead river in sw west wa. Now it will suck. Thanks people.

I remember taking my kids to the Skagit 10 years ago.  It was epic.  Lots of big fish and great for kids.  Last few years I checked things out it didn't look too good.  I used to look forward to this time of year for the chum.  I think those days are gone.

Well no one has ever called me a fisherman. And I am not. But I hate waste of wild resources. Somebody needs to get pictures when this happens and smack them down at every state resource hearing or any where else.

If nothing else it would might put some heat on.

And really we should treat this just like the wolf thread. Rights are Rights, and wrong is wrong. Some indians are two faced about conservation. And have to be called out every time they cross the line.  :bash: :sry: :yike:
