Just leave it in the can they don't add that much weight, and at least for me it is worth it. Bring some tortea shells, dried chili's and herbs, like oregano and cumin and make some tacos
I was wondering if anyone has ever tried this or knows of a way to get canned chicken out in the back country without taking the actual cans. I was thinking of opening it and putting it in the vacuum packer and see how long it would last? Just trying to switch it up from the mountain house meals. [/quotYuk
Go to the tuna section of the grocery store and buy chicken in pouches. Pre-cooked and ready to eat.
